3 1/2 C flour
3 Tbsp sugar
1 Tbsp baking powder
1 Tbsp ginger
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground cloves
6 Tbsp molasses
3 Tbsp vegetable oil
3 C buttermilk (or 3 Tbsp lemon juice added to milk)
3 eggs
Mix wet ingredients. Whisk together dry ingredients. Stir just combined. Place about 1/4 C batter on griddle.
